HPC Experience

I have taken two HPC classes and have been presenting in the Scientific Computing, Mathematics, and Physics Research Seminar.
One of the core codes of my current research which simulate fracture behaviors of solid materials requires massive computations. I established a parallel code using Matlab which significantly reduced the computational costs.
I also built up predictive models to learn the feature-property relationship of porous materials using the Bayesian Additive Regression Tree in R-package. The predictive model works pretty well and we predict some mechanical properties of the porous materials via geometric features using the model.

CCMNet was developed in response to the NSF RCN:CIP solicitation and is funded by NSF Award #2227656. These efforts bring novel structure and consistency to the development of the CIP workforce, enabling a more advanced CIP workforce better able to support today’s research needs, while anticipating future needs.

What is a CIP? CI Professionals is a term developed by the National Science Foundation (NSF). See Transforming Science through Cyberinfrastructure.
