I would like practical guidance on using AI and national cyberinfrastructure resources to support cybersecurity education, research, and workforce development. My goal is to better understand how Campus Champions can help faculty and students access and use resources such as ACCESS, AI/HPC platforms, cloud computing resources, and related training opportunities.
I am especially interested in learning how to integrate AI and cyberinfrastructure into courses and research activities related to cybersecurity, network security, cloud computing, digital forensics, penetration testing, information assurance, and compliance. I would also like to develop a clearer pathway for supporting students and faculty at a smaller, teaching-focused institution with limited local HPC infrastructure.
Through this mentorship, I hope to identify appropriate AI/HPC resources, learn best practices for on-boarding new users, explore possible classroom and research use cases, and build connections with experienced Campus Champions and cyberinfrastructure facilitators. My long-term goal is to strengthen AI and cyberinfrastructure capacity at my institution and create more opportunities for students to engage with advanced computing resources.
This aligns with my academic background in cybersecurity, information assurance, networking, cloud computing, digital forensics, penetration testing, and security compliance, as well as my research interests in information security policy compliance, insider threats, data security, security informatics, dark web analytics, and anomaly detection.
