Soha Hassoun is Professor and Past Chair of the Department of Computer Science at Tufts University. She holds secondary appointments in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and also in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Tufts. Soha's research interest is at the intersection of Machine Learning and Biology.  In a prior life, Soha was an integrated circuit designer and worked as a consultant to several EDA companies. Soha was a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award. She has held executive and technical leadership roles for numerous conferences and workshops, including serving as Technical Program Chair for DAC and ICCAD.
